    I've been teaching for over 28 years, and started inverting my class in 2008. I found it helped the students succeed in the class because they learned it was an ongoing process, not just within the four walls. I started hearing the phrase "flipped classroom" and realized that's what I was doing as well. Explaining it to others was more difficult then just showing them, which wasn't always physically possible. This book helps with the explanation, and I recommend this highly to anyone who considers trying this and check out their Ning forum for more assistance from them and others who are using this model to make learning a truly effective, interesting, and yes, entertaining process!

    Does a great job of boiling down the basics of what a "flipped" classroom is. Written very humbly by two people who created 2012's reform du jour. the difference is, this is a reasonable, doable change.
