The Knox County R-I School District is located in rural, northeast Missouri in the small town of Edina. During the 2012-2013 school year we embarked on a journey that would transform education throughout the district. This initiative is known as the i.G.R.O.W. Project. Students and teachers across the district utilize tools such as iPad and MacBook to transform teaching and learning. Throughout all grade levels, you will find teachers and students utilizing technology to do everything from take notes to making iMovies to teach others. Students are creating, collaborating, and engaging in many different learning experiences. This book outlines the vision, goals, and successes of the initiative.
