  • Facts vs emotional nonsense

    It's interesting how most right leaning books, talk show hosts and media state their case with logic and facts. The left is mostly emotion driven. Once I realized this it's so easy to separate emotional nonsense for reason and fact. All of my left wing friends are highly emotional, knee jerk reactionary people. Not the type to spend time contemplating or researching a topic. Dinesh does an outstanding job making his case with logic and facts. I'll bet most of the negative reviews for this book will be knee jerk, emotional nonsense.

    Great read and truly informative from both a historical and ideological perspective. Only one flaw which makes it a 4 star, professor. The solution and the ending of your thesis (analysis) is somewhat weak and an emotional letdown to say the least. However, my own humble opinion of course. I love the idea of a competing on-line affordable higher education system though. I think you hit a homer with this one. Why not use the proceeds of your documentaries and books to finance a startup system. I would be delighted to help in that endeavor if you so choose to take that route as would thousands of others like me!

    I bought the audiobook and listened to it three times. Multiple citations for all his arguments, and have yet to see one legitimate refutation. D'Sousa is clearly the best writer on the right, and he makes me proud that I'm a lifelong Republican who's always despised the (leftist) fascists and nazis.

    I felt Dinesh proved his case, but in some spots such as on abortion his linkages aren't as strong as they could be. I felt like the final chapter was written mostly for elected Republicans, and left the grassroots largely without amy serious work ahead. Also, there were several places where I found typos in the years he records recent events happening.
