  • A spin on cozy

    If you are in the mood for a cozy mystery then this one is the one for you. An easy read that flows smoothly. The author will draw you in and and you will feel as though you are part of the storyline. I highly recommend this book. Dana (the main character) is so easy to like. A bonus is the recipe you receive.
  • Not that good

    While I am sure writing a book is much more difficult than I can imagine, this one still needs a lot of work. The plot doesn't really make sense, the dialogue is not natural, and there are plenty of errors in spelling and punctuation. I was relieved it was short and I could finish it quickly. However, I was thankful it wasn't violent or graphic. It was a cozy little book, just not a well written one.

    Lots of errors... Horrible, choppy writing. Author repeated her self. So much detail that it was actually annoying. I didn't need to know every vintage item in the house🙄 I couldn't finish this...
  • I died a little reading this

    There is absolutely nothing that turns me off more than bad grammar. However, this books was a double-edged sword in that it slayed me both with a plethora of grammatical errors on top of ridiculous dialog and way too much explanation. Repetition is not a proper way to develop characters but this author used it ad nauseam. Since it was free I can't get a refund but the time I lost from my life trying to read this book is gone forever.

    This could have been a cute story, however, there were enough errors in the writing that they became a distraction which ruined the book for me. Most of the errors were grammatical and basic convention issues which could be easily fixed with better editing, although there were also several times the story took shortcuts in plot. With careful editing and revisions, this could be a decent cozy, but not as currently written. Not worth your time if misspellings, run on sentences, or poor grammar impact your reading.
